September 2003
Big issue: Volume 12 BauhausUlm is finally printed, and the last remaining fellows are busy with finishing this forty page issue.
Summer 2003
The initiator of the project, Professor Gerd Fleischmann, retires (?) after summer semester 2003.
Theres no obituary at this place, for we havent heard from »Gerd« for the last time, I reckon.
Thus from our side: Best wishes for the future!
July 2003
Another semester ends, and more Eckstein researchers get their diploma. Congratulations to Nina Kaiser, Charlotte Plettau, Athena Stebner and to us, for the marketing group has finished, too.
Thus, the BauhausUlm team is reduced to ... Martin. Our volume 12 BauhausUlm will still be published, presumably in October after the semester holidays.

The BauhausUlm team visited Sappi Germany in Hannover to assure the sponsoring of the preprint of the following volumes.
In Alfeld an der Leine we visited the Fagus factory built between 1911 and 1925 according to plans by Walter Gropius and Adolf Meyer.

We would like to welcome the new participants in the Eckstein_reconsidered study project.
Now, at the beginning of the semester, we proudly present volume 5, Die Weltausstellung von 1851.

The typography seminar rooms have been refitted with a new floor during the semester break.
July 2nd, 2002
The teams have returned and are now processing their experiences between books and Macs. Todays exams mark the beginning of the semester break, but we will work on the project all the same.
June 10th-12th, 2002
Eckstein goes east: the project team presents the first volumes of Eckstein_reconsidered at the HTWK and HGB Leipzig, at the Bauhaus university Weimar and at the Hochschule Anhalt (FH) in Dessau.
We would like to thank all those who provided accommodation, listened to our presentation and gave feedback. We hope to keep contact.
